Why doesn't my pedometer start counting immediately when I begin walking?

This is normal! Our 10-step error prevention feature prevents false counts. It starts recording only after 10 consecutive steps (showing 10, 11, 12...).
Why does the pedometer record inaccurate step counts?

Certain abnormal movements may not be counted as steps, such as irregular motions (like swaying or shaking) or slow, light footsteps. For accurate step counting, clip the pedometer to the front of your waistband and maintain normal stride.
