Handcrafted by the celebrated Mexican designer Jan Barboglio, known for blending Spanish Colonial and Hacienda influences in her rustic ironwork and decorative arts. This Butterfly Giving Trinket Box is a conversation piece for sure. Hand-forged iron or cast bronze-colored iron. Features an applied metal butterfly accent on the top of the lid and the artist's insignia on the side of the box. In beautiful bronze-shades with a natural, rustic finish. Jan Barboglio started creating her iconic handcrafted meta boxes around the late 20th century, from the 1980s through the 1990s. Jan's work often features religious or symbolic elements.

This box is in good vintage condition with no significant wear or damaged.
