Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Reinier Vinkeles' after an anonymous artist. Reinier Vinkeles (Amsterdam; 1741-1816), was an 18th-century painter and engraver from the Northern Netherlands, who was the later teacher of several talented artists. He studied for some ten years with Jan Punt and joined the Amsterdam Stadstekenacademie.

Subject: Antique print, untitled. Title page with female religious and moral personifications (Faith, Truth, Justice and Prosperity) near a burning heart on a pedestal.
Condition: Very good, given age. An old pencil annotation in the lower margin. The margins faintly soiled and a soft crease in the top right margin corner. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
