EL-50449 TPMS ACTIVATION TOOL FOR FORD

OVERVIEW:
This tool is required to reset and retrain the tire pressure sensor on Ford vehicles after sensor replacement, a tire pressure warning, or a tire change.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. PLACE VEHICLE IN TRAINING MODE:

Insert the key.
Engage the parking brake.
Turn the vehicle key from OFF to ON (or RUN) three times.
Press the parking brake again.
Remove the key and turn it from OFF to ON three times again.
Confirmation: Three consecutive hazard alarm tones will sound.

2. TRAIN THE SENSORS:

Hold the tool's antenna close to the valve stem of the left front tire.
Press and release the Start button on the tool.
Wait for a confirmation signal (beep) from the vehicle's horn/speaker.
Upon successful activation, the next turn signal (right front) will illuminate.

3. REMAINING SENSORS:

Repeat Step 2 for the remaining tires in this order:
1. Right Front Tire
2. Right Rear Tire
3. Left Rear Tire

4. COMPLETION:

After activating the left rear tire, the horn will sound twice.
The system will automatically exit training mode.
