The design features the endangered hippopotamus as its motif.


The thick, rough hippopotamus skin is incorporated into the bezel and band design, while the buttons also evoke the hippo with rose gold IP plating. 


EARTHWATCH Japan's call to action, “Change the World. Yourself.” is printed on the band, while the logo mark is printed on the bezel.


The logo is also used for the LED backlight, and the symbol mark is engraved on the case back.


It incorporates Tough Solar, embodying environmental consideration.
