Offered as a single lot are three authentic antique to vintage Native American Plains-style beaded necklaces, dating approximately from the early to mid-20th century (circa 1900–1960).
Each necklace is hand loom-beaded using glass seed beads and reflects traditional Indigenous design elements and construction.
Included in this lot:
• One white-ground Plains-style necklace featuring stylized blue birds and a central butterfly motif, with a beaded fringe termination.
• One white-ground necklace with repeating ancient Indigenous “whirling log” (hooked cross) motifs in red and green. This is a traditional Native symbol representing movement, balance, and life force and is not associated with later European political usage.
• One darker ceremonial-style necklace composed primarily of black beads with brown geometric patterning and long beaded fringe.
All pieces show honest age-appropriate wear, including minor bead loss, thread wear, and patina consistent with original early materials. No modern repairs observed. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description.
Tribal attribution: Unknown. Styles are consistent with Plains / Great Lakes–influenced beadwork.
Materials: Glass seed beads, natural fiber thread
Provenance: From a private collection
Sold as one lot of three necklaces.
