"ROBIN AND MARIAN" expanded score CD - music composed by John Barry
The soundtrack CD to "ROBIN AND MARIAN"(1976), an adventure romance film based on the legend of Robin Hood, set in his last days 18 years after well-known adventrure tale. The film starred Sean Connery, Audrey Hepburn, Robert Shaw, Richard Harris and Nicol Williamson, written by James Goldman, directed by Richard Lester. Original At first Michel Legrand, who worked with Lester in THE THREE MUSKETEERS before, attached the film as the composer but his score was eventually rejected, John Barry replaced the score used in the final version of the film. Legrand's unused score was later released thru Universal label France coupled with THE THREE MUSKETEERS.
The CD released thru Prometheus label Belgium (disc number PCR522) on 2008 in limited numbers of 3000, all sold out. 19 tracks, 47 minutes of recording. The CD is brand new, still sealed in the factory wrap. It has no cut-out marks.
