Other viscosities like 100K (Some Pioneer models), 200K (Thorens), 300k (for some Pioneer, Technics and DUAL models) and 500k for Sony, DUAL and other heavy tonearms also available and request blunt needle for some Sony and Technics models.

Please note: the old dirty and dried up fluid must be removed before a fresh charge of Silicone Oil
can be applied! The relevant photos serve as an aid to buyers.
Approximately 2ml in syringe. As per service
manual and audio forums, 500k
or 500000 cSt silicone oil to be used for smooth tonearm movement and
improvement in performance. After years of use the original fluid has
dried up or
dust and dirt are causing the fluid to become more frictional. Cleaning
and applying
fresh fluid is advisable to see if the problem can be resolved. For
comparisons
sake, 200k cSt has more or less the consistency of honey and 1 cSt is
the
viscosity of water and the analogy here is like dropping a spoon in a
glass of
water or a pot of honey.....the spoon takes a long time to sink to the
bottom
in honey! Unless you are a repair shop, all you need are 2ml and not the
whole
big bottle. Therefore, I am selling off my surplus stock in an easy to
apply
syringe (a needle is not required nor is it convenient for the majority
of cases) and small quantities that an enthusiast would need! For 100K
(some Pioneer models), 200K(Thorens), 300K (for a more slower drop or
models of DUAL turntables) and 500K (Sony, DUAL or
heavy tonearms) Silicone Oil, please look at my other similar items for
sale! If your turntable requires a blunt needle to inject the silicone
oil, please ask me and I will supply one large blunt needle for free!
Returns not accepted!!
