Displaying the fortitude reserved for winner-take-all contests, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamot entered the game in the bottom of the ninth after having just thrown 96 pitches not 24 hours earlier. Yamamoto's tow and two-thirds innings of scoreless relief will be talked about for years to come - and his 2025 World Series ring will commemorate the achievement.
