This type of agate  was found by my friend Velichko Krastev in 1987, who finds its deposits 5 km from the town of Kardzhali, in Visegrad, in the Rhodope Mountains.
Orpheus agate is made up of a strand of green cecidonite, yellow jasper and white chalcedony in the middle.
