Antique Carved wooden Kundu or ceremonial drum with a wooden handle carved from the same wood as the body of the drum in the form of a Crocodile, incised designs on the Croc and linear designs on body of the drum, which is well handled with signs of field use. Collected in the 1960s in the lower Sepik River region, Papua New Guinea, and was in a private New York collection since 1980.

The drum measures 21 inches tall x 5.5 inches wide.
