This VTG/antique embroidered child's sampler from 1871 (unverified) is a charming piece of fabric art. Featuring a multicolor design, this pre-1930 linen sampler would make a delightful addition to any collection of vintage linens and textiles.

Frame has some dings, and there are a few stains on the fabric. The frame doesn’t currently have glass and the paper is pulling away from one corner at the back.  There is an inscription on the back as well (it was given as a gift).

Measures approximately 12”x15”.

The stitching and simple pattern suggest a bygone era of craftsmanship and the work of a child that is sure to appeal to collectors of antique samplers and nostalgic décor enthusiasts.
