New model for self gluing. Does not contain glue or paints. The Fairey Gannet is a UK onboard turboprop patrol aircraft designed for ZOP operations and early warning. The prototype flew in 1949 (with an Armstrong-Siddeley Mamba engine) and the first landing of Fairey Gannet on an aircraft carrier took place on 19 June 1950. The machine entered the line in 1953. Several versions of this aircraft have been produced, the most important of which are the following: AS.1 (APO operations, 183 units produced), T.2 (training version, 38 units), AEW.3 (Early Warning aircraft, 44 units). A total of 351 series machines were built. Three different power units were also used on Firey Gannet aircraft: ASMD.1, ASMD.2 and ASMD.4. with power from 2950hp to 3875hp. The aircraft was exported to Australia, Germany and Indonesia. It was withdrawn from the airline in the British Air Force in 1978.
