The Texas Stock Directory, or Book of Marks and Brands. 

This is a paperback facsimile copy of the original book published in 1865. William Reese describes this as the first Texas and second American brand book and one of the most important works to deal with the Texas cattle industry. It was meant to have each county in the state in a multi-volume effort, but only one volume and a supplement was ever published. 

402 pages of brands plus an additional 50 pages of advertisements, each with an index. 6” x 9”. Black and white.
