The unit operates very quietly you’d need to place your ear within a few inches to detect any AC heater noise. Occasionally, you may hear slight tube “crackling,” which tube is microphonic during warm up and that's normal.

Tubes included are JJ El34x2, RCA 6880, and Sylvania 5U4G.
