Charleston, South Carolina: Deeply tanned and the picture of health, President Roosevelt beams an even broader smile than usual as he is shown on arrival at Charleston on the U.S.S. Philadelphia after an 8-day fishing cruise in the Caribbean. The president told reporters that the wages and hours bill would be among the first matters he will take up on resuming his executive duties. Photo measures 10.5 x 8.25 inches. Photo Is dated 1936.
