Here is a ticket stub to the May 22, 1955 game between the Milwaukee Braves and Chicago Cubs at County Stadium. In this one, Hank Aaron led the Braves with 2 RBI and the Braves won, 5-1. These were just the 90th and 91st RBI of 21-year-old Aaron's career; he would end with the most RBI in history (2,297).
Gene Conley pitched a complete
game 3-hitter for the Braves. The 6-ft 8-inch
Conley won a World Series with Milwaukee in 1957 and won 3 NBA Titles with the
Celtics in ’59, ’60 and ’61.
