Here is a large (4.75” x 1.5”) ticket stub to the Jan. 21, 1988 game between the Edmonton Oilers and Philadelphia Flyers at the Spectrum.  It took eleven years at the top before Gretzky played fewer than 72 games in a season -- and this was the year.  This stub is for a 3-1 loss in which Gretzky was out (for the 10th game) with a sprained knee.  As a result, the Oilers' scoring line was shut out.  The man was irreplaceable.

This team of Oilers would go on to defeat Boston in the Stanley Cup finals.

The stub is creased.  Please see photos. This is a nice clean stub from a non-smoking home.
