This product is a set of five Royal Doulton (maybe from the earlierWebb Corbett which was taken over by Doulton) glasses, featuring a classic Georgian design with a lead crystal This is a high-quality cut lead crystal glass from the 'Georgian' suite produced by Royal Doulton Crystal.
The design features a band of seven large criss-cross cuts, each surmounted by a three pointed fan cut, with a smaller cross-cut in the diamond-shaped panels between adjacent crosses. Below this sits seven hollowed out spheres.
The bowl sits on a short stem with a central flattened ball knop and a plain, flat foot. Made in England, these hand-cut glasses stand at 11cm high. The elegant Georgian pattern and production technique make these glasses a timeless addition to any collection.
