Hello, I have for sale my Rare pair of Sealed NOS Genuine  JBL C8R128H-1     Re-cone Kits. 
These are a one piece pre-assembled  kit used to repair the 128H.
May work for others.

The kits available in this listing are Sealed NOS as pictured.

These kits were made in the 90's and are Sealed, 
complete and untouched. Since they are Vintage kits they may need new foam!
 I do not know if they need it or not. I just wanted to bring it up, so there are no surprises. If needed they will be easier to put new foam surrounds on the cones while they are out of the baskets. AND, the new foam technology is better than it was back then!

These are genuine JBL re-cone kits. These were not available to the public, only Authorized JBL repair centers could get these re-cone kits. There were not many repair centers.

JBL Professional no longer manufactures many recone kits for the vast line of vintage loudspeakers. Professional Series and Consumer models have been discontinued since the production line had been moved from Northridge, CA to Mexico. Production quality issues could not be remedied in Mexico, so the decision by Harman/JBL was to simply discontinue the parts leaving hundreds of thousands of outstanding loudspeakers unsupported by the factory after 50 years of continuous support of the finest loudspeakers ever manufactured by an American company.
