Technics SL-2000 Direct Drive Player System Turntable

The unit has been tested and confirmed to be working properly. The 33/45 rpm speed switching and pitch control function correctly, and the platter rotation is stable, making it suitable for everyday use. Pitch can be adjusted via the pitch control slider. Please note that since this unit is designed for Japanese domestic use (AC100V/50-60Hz), the actual pitch accuracy may vary depending on the voltage and frequency in your country. Pitch accuracy is therefore not covered under any guarantee. The cueing lifter moves slowly and smoothly. Please refer to the video for a demonstration of operation.

Cosmetically, there are signs of age and normal use, but overall it remains in good condition for a vintage unit. The dust cover has scratches and hazing from regular use, and the hinges are firm and open/close smoothly. Please note that the dust cover shows age-related wear and has an approximately 3cm crack near the hinge area. This does not affect operation or usability. Please check the photos carefully for details.

The photos shown are examples of our packaging. We take the following extra precautions to prevent damage in transit:

• The platter is securely fixed with tape to prevent movement.
• The rubber mat and weight (and other accessories) are placed on top and completely secured with stretch wrap.
• The tonearm is properly locked and immobilized.
• The most fragile part, the dust cover, is protected by:
  • Wrapping the exterior with cardboard
  • Covering it with protective bubble wrap
• The entire turntable is first wrapped and protected (single box stage).

After that:

• The unit is placed inside a larger outer box.
• It will be shipped in a double-boxed configuration for maximum shock protection.
