It all began in 1988 when Dan started selling summer sausages door to door out of his '74 Dodge Dart. He always began with, "Hi, I'm Dan the Sausageman". People would laugh, he would sell, and Dan the Sausageman was born. It's been over 35 years since he started his route and a lot has changed since then, but our commitment to creating a quality product, and offering great customer assistance has never faltered.
