Some Information from a customer who has used this yarn - 3.75mm needles - Gauge is 21 Stitches x 30 Rows 4" x 4" (10cm x 10cm )

Assessment - It felt hard on the cone, but has really softened after removing the oil. Soaked it in hot water with a drop of washing up liquid, 3 times, then rinsed  and pinned to dry after rolling in a towel. It stayed the same size after blocking too. Very well behaved. Stitch definition is lovely and it knits up incredibly evenly. The resulting fabric is really nice. It also didn't twist on itself when pulling from the cone.

 THIS IS A 55% LAMBSWOOL 45% COTTON YARN DARK COFFEE BROWN COLOUR. IT IS A NICE YARN 4/14NM (3500 METRES PER 1KG - 200G IS APPROX 700M) THIS YARN HAS BEEN PLIED TOGETHER TO THICKEN IT AND MAKE IT STRONGER.
