Chloramphenicol works by preventing bacteria from producing essential proteins, stopping their growth and allowing your body’s immune system to clear the infection.


💊 Directions for Use

  1. Wash hands before and after use.

  2. Pull down the lower eyelid and apply a small amount (about 1cm) of ointment to the affected eye(s).

  3. Apply every 3 hours (up to 6 times daily) while awake, or as directed by a doctor or pharmacist.

  4. Continue treatment for at least 48 hours after symptoms clear.

Tip: If you’re also using eye drops, apply the drops first and wait at least 5 minutes before applying the ointment.
