How to invite the Buddha into the house or hang it around your neck when you receive it
How to worship amulets - sacred objects
Amulets refer to objects in the form of a Buddha, which can be a Buddha image or a monk image, called amulets. As for sacred objects, it is a collective term that can also refer to amulets or other sacred objects, such as takruts, yantra cloths, amulet rings, sacred threads, etc.
Inviting amulets is necessary because it will awaken our minds to receive the Buddha's power contained inside, connecting our minds with the minds of those who chant them, and it is also a way to know what amulets we will hang or carry today. When we need help, we will be able to think of the right one.
Inviting method (do it for the first time when you receive an amulet)
- Light 3 incense sticks to worship the Buddha (flowers, incense, candles if you have them)
- If it is an amulet, hold it in your hands. If it is a large Buddha image, place it on a suitable altar or table.
- Then follow the steps for inviting the Buddha below.
