【Important Notice】
There has been an increase in cases where an export permit from the Agency for Cultural Affairs is required to prove that an item is not currently prohibited from export from Japan.
Obtaining this export permit after purchase may result in a delay of one month or more before shipment.
We are unable to provide a specific timeframe.
We cannot accept cancellations based on reasons such as the excessive time required between payment and shipment.
This suit of armor does not come with a certificate of authenticity.
Typically, Japanese dealers only submit armor for authentication if there is a prospect of selling it for several million yen.
Please understand in advance that this armor does not fall into that category.

【Regarding U.S. Tariffs Effective October 2025】

Note!
Some sellers selling protective gear from Japan are stealing images from their real owners without their permission, even though the real owners sell only domestically.
Please be careful not to buy from these people!
These malicious sellers do not have a unified listing, and the backgrounds of their images are different and cannot provide a detailed description.
This kind of behavior is considered a problem in Japan and is a crime, including violation of image copyright.
Please do not encourage this kind of malicious behavior.

【About condition】
This item is over 150 years old, so it naturally has minor scratches, stains, tears, and paint peeling.
While it's impossible to list every detail, these marks are proof this armor saw actual combat.

Notable damage is listed below:
The inner lining of the KABUTO helmet is torn.
This tear is likely intentional, as it may conceal a signature inside.
The small iron rod attaching the MAETATE is loose and repaired; excessive movement may cause damage.
The cotton-filled fabric from the neck to the chest has tears and is joined with minimal fabric.
The side joint on the torso is split and repaired.
There is a crack on the right temple area of the MENPO.
The sleeve fabric has tears.
The cord securing the greaves is missing.
The box's laces are cut.
Modern laces have been used for repairs in several places.
The top board of the box is likely missing.
Inside the box are written the name of the village where the owner lived and the name SAKAGUCHI.

To list every minor flaw would be endless. If you dislike this level of damage, you'll need to pay several times this price.
Alternatively, we recommend modern armor.

This armor is a masterpiece conveying the image of samurai from that era to the present, evoking Japan's wabi-sabi aesthetic.
It conveys the feel of armor that saw actual combat.
