Fantastic Vintage Condition

This product is a hand-painted 5" bisque porcelain figurine depicting Santa Claus of 1903 from Russia, manufactured by Heilig-Meyers in the 1990s.

Heilig-Meyers' "Santas from Around the World" were a limited edition collection of hand-painted bisque porcelain figurines released in the 1990s. As a major furniture and home goods retailer, Heilig-Meyers used the collectible series as a special seasonal item to sell or offer as a promotional gift to customers.

Founded in 1913, Heilig-Meyers was a retail furniture chain that became the largest in the U.S. during the 1990s. They sold a variety of home furnishings and seasonal goods.

The "Santas from Around the World" line was part of the company's broader holiday offerings. Seasonal collectibles were a popular trend for retailers at the time.

Each 5" figurine in the collection depicted Santa Claus, or a similar Saint Nicholas figure, in the traditional attire of a specific country from a particular year.

The collection was designed to show the historical evolution of Santa's costume across different cultures and decades.
