This Dybbuk box has been under containment since Black Star — a ritual site I’ve referenced before in my work, one tied to the oldest form of suppression I’ve ever participated in.
The box itself is sealed in layers of wax and protection. The surface bears the white cross of reversal, marked not as a symbol of faith but as a seal — a restraint meant to bind whatever once sought to surface. Each brushstroke was done in silence, after the ritual itself had already begun to take effect.
Behind it in the images, you’ll see part of the original ritual altar setup — the chained wall relics, the watcher mask, and the blackened angel figure that once stood beside it as the containment was performed. That angel, stained red at the hands, was used as a guardian decoy — to absorb, not defend. The difference matters.
What’s within this box was not summoned by me — it was transferred, moved, and locked. The individual who brought it to me had already attempted their own form of closure but failed. Their first box had cracked. I used this vessel instead, sealing it with wax and other parts of my binding ritual I can't write about.
The entity it houses has been mute but restless, shifting its presence in indirect ways — flickering of candles, distortion in reflective surfaces, sometimes a sudden pull of emotion that hits without warning.
