The radio seems to be in great shape. The only issue at all is that when you play a tape it sounds muffled. I googled it and it said that either the head needs cleaning or is slightly misaligned. An easy fix for someone who knows what they are doing. The tape does not drag or anything. Seems to run fine. All other switches work as they should. I tried to load a video to ebay but could never get it to work so I uploaded the video to you tube.Copy and paste this link into your browser to see it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vxq-i-Jbf9g It is cosmetically very good as you can see. There were old batteries in it when I got it that leaked a little as you can see. It doesn't appear to be bad enough to hurt anything. I did not test it running on batteries as I don't have 10 size D to put in it but I am pretty sure they would work. It has fantastic sound even loud.
