This fine example of repoussé silverwork features lush floral and scroll decoration typical of Warner’s early craftsmanship. There are also birds in the design. The elegant repoussé detail and refined form embody the artistry that made Andrew Ellicott Warner one of the leading American silversmiths of the 19th century.
