Dated 1957, this presentation memorial spoon features a pearl at the finial and comes in its original wooden case hand imprinted in Japanese and English with ITSUO NAGANO GOVERNOR OF HIROSHIMA. The front reads THE CITY OF HIROSHIMA. A historically significant piece reportedly presented to the U.S. Attache assigned to Hiroshima 1955 to 1957.
