Offered here is a tiny 1-1/2” carved walnut house with teeny tiny Kokeshi couple inside.  The dolls are about 1/8” tall with rounded heads, painted facial features and each doll wears striped shirt with matching caps.  The doorway in which they appear is ¼” tall.  The bottom of the nut has been flattened so that it sits level for display and it is signed near the door in Japanese, by the artist.
