This tube is definitely very strong. It has replacement plain box and it is a premium quality tube.

The AVERAGE that a new Old stock Tube of this type tests at 1000 MICROMHOS.

Given that even two tubes out of the same factory produced right one after another can test differently, and that test equipment can differ in the amount of voltage it runs, and that different brands manufacture with slightly different components which alters the variable for the readings slightly, new old stock readings are all based on averages.

The industry standard is plus or minus 20%. I use a little bit stricter of a metric than that since there’s so many tubes on the market. So if I’m calling a Tube new Old stock it’s going to be within 10% of the average values.

This tube tested at 800 on one line A and 825 on line B.

In this case the industry standard would call this new Old stock, I don’t know if it’s ever been used. I know it’s very strong and I know that it is balanced well, but I’m gonna call it an open box cause I’m not sure it’s history and whether it’s been used, I’ll let you have the info that I have and you can know what I do.
