Vintage baby doll dress, factory made, 12 inches shoulder to hem, 8 inches across the waist.

Beautiful ivory fabric with pink flowers and green leaves plus a center insert of light pink, made of taffeta with a rayon ribbon on the hat and pink and white lace. The fabric has a soft sheen to it.

The doll is not included.

She is 18 inches tall and the dress is a little long on her so this would probably fit an 18 to 20 inch doll.

There’s no label in it. Someone has sewn an extra piece of fabric around the waist to reinforce and protect that seam from raveling. You can see the need for this repair in the last photo where it had come apart on the dress back near the armpit. I didn’t even notice it until I was doing this description. The reinforcing extends up the front of the bodice also; all of it done with cotton twill tape.

You can see by the inside of the sleeves and the hem that it is factory sewn, not handmade.

The rayon ribbon ties on the hat are raveling and the cut ends of the bow.
