The WGW 300 hot-wedge welding machine from Weldy, a Leister brand, welds thermoplastic geomembranes made of HDPE (0.8 to 2.5 mm), LDPE, TPO, FPO, PVC* (0.8 to 3.0 mm), etc. effortlessly and reliably. The geomembranes are typically used in landfills and mines, as well as for aquaculture, fish farms, irrigation systems, etc. and are permanently welded together. The WGW 300 has been deliberately designed to be simple and robust. The electrical controls are intelligently arranged.
All keys are labeled bilingually (English and Chinese). Heating and motor can be turned on and off directly with the controls, which enables fast, safe and intuitive operation. By means of a temperature sensor placed in the middle of the wedge, the welding temperature can be precisely controlled at any time during overlap welding. The WGW 300 automatic welder is equipped with a powerful and durable motor. Its strong drive rollers ensure a secure grip when reliably welding membranes on inclines that are almost vertical. Thanks to the large rollers, this Weldy hot-wedge welding machine achieves high-quality welds on both even and uneven surfaces. The WGW 300 from Weldy is inexpensive to purchase and manages the balancing act between price and quality, making it stand out positively in its market segment. The automatic welding machine is suitable as an inexpensive, entry-level tool for plastic welding in mines, landfills and various engineering projects.
