Blaylock is credited with one year of major league service. Blaylock signed with the Cardinals in ‘50 and played in the minors for nine years before spending part of ‘59 in the majors with St. Louis and the NY Yankees. His record for the year was a combined 4 and 6 for the Cards and Yankees. He would spend several more years in the minors, with a couple of comeback seasons between retirements before leaving the game in ‘66.
