This antique Belgian curtain measures 270 × 150 cm and is made of fine Swiss linen. The panel is decorated with a 20 cm Bruges guipure lace border. The lace is most likely machine-made, worked with floral and leaf motifs connected by bars and picots, a style typical of mid-20th century Bruges lace production.
The top edge is neatly cut, while the vertical edges differ: one side is finished with a narrow lace trim, and the other side is left completely unfinished. The linen weave is light and transparent, designed to let natural light filter through and highlight the lace details.
This curtain is suitable for use as a decorative window panel, room divider, or interior textile. It is also valued by designers and collectors for reuse in creative projects.
All curtains in this collection are antique and authentic, manufactured in Belgium with Swiss linen and Bruges lace. Each piece varies in size and lace design, but all share the same high quality. This panel has been selected for its decorative lace border and preserved condition.

Please note that all our laces and linens are sold as found, unwashed and unused, they have been stored for many years so if any cleaning or ironing is needed, it will be left to the buyer. Before use, gently hand wash or soak in soft soap, rinsed and towel dried (no wringing!!) and let to air dry. The ancient folk wisdom says that it is better to spread the fabrics on a meadow and let the dew and the moon naturally whiten the fabric.
