Very Interesting 1862 US Stampless Cover, postmarked with "New York Ship Letter 5" Cancel and written from Havana to Maine, traveling by schooner "John Walker".
Inside, is 1 1/2 page letter from Levi Maestan, with nice content including mention of battles (Civil War?) and talks about departing for home on ship. Great Research and Display Items!!
