The first edition Trees and Shrubs of Kruger National Park contains full page color plates, numerous black and white photographs and line drawings of leaves, fruit, and flowers plus brief descriptions of the trees and shrubs found in the Park. It is clean and complete. The binding is fragile and the spine cover has a small tear at the head of the spine. An errata slip is bound into the book at the first page. The pages are age toned. The covers show light edge wear. The back cover has a small ding along the leading edge. Overall, the book is in good condition.
The brochures and maps are in excellent condition: clean, complete, unmarked and free of rips, tears and creases. The graphics are bright. While these brochures are undated the prices for park entry date them. For example, 40 cents entry per car plus 10 cents for adults and 5 cents for children to Mountain Zebra National Park. Descriptions of lodging and campsites and hours of operation are included.
