AND COMES WITH THE INDOOR PHONE--The Alpha Communications® VDP-5000 video-intercom kits are designed to meet your requirements for video-intercom security, for a single entry door to a single inside video monitor unit, expandable to a maximum of 2 inside monitors and/or 2 entrydoor stations.
The video monitor features a crystal clear 4.0" black and white flat screen monitor (measured diagonally), electronic chime signalling, coiled cord and a momentary door release switch. The monitor also feature a front-mounted 'ON' button to turn the monitor on without being called from an entrance panel.
The door camera/intercom station, provided in the kit, is flush mounted and includes a built-in 1/3" CCD Black and White camera, infrared illuminaThe video-intercom kit(s) shall be Alpha Communications® VDP-5000 or approved equal. Monitor shall be surface mounted using the provided mounting bracket. Monitor shall include a high quality 4.0" flat screen. Monitors using mirrors or other non-flat type screens shall not be acceptable. Monitor handset shall feature electret condenser microphone for exceptional voice fidelity. Handsets that include carbon transmitter or other voice technologies shall not be acceptable. Monitor shall include a door release button. Monitor shall plug directly into a standard 110VAC/60Hz. electrical wall outlet, and shall provide the power for the electronic chime, video monitor and camera, and intercom. Monitor shall be finished in White plastic. A separate low-voltage power supply shall be used to power the electric door release, if required.
