Antique Carved wooden Kundu or ceremonial drum with a wooden handle carved from the same wood as the body of the drum, incised tribal designs including a anthropomorphic face, reptile skin membrane on top ( In tact) drum and signs of field use, collected in the 1960s in the lower Sepik River region, Papua New Guinea, and was in a private New York collection since 1980.

The drum measures 20 inches tall x 4 inches wide.
