A Hand carved old Kundu drum of typical hourglass form, the drum with rounded handle and two stylized avian-like figures, the whole, with intricate scroll work incised into a raised surface with remains of pigment.

This fine old drum has classical scrollwork patterns common to the art of the region. It is quite old and well-used.

Acquired by past collector from Rudi Ceaser, C. 1982. Measures 22 x 6 inches.
