This individual riddling cast iron grate bar is designed to fit the Hunter Herald 8, Herald 8 Boiler, and Inset 7 stoves. Known as the Upper Grate Bar or ‘Small End’ bar, it features a smaller hook and sits higher on the shaker bar—working alongside the lower bars to support fuel and allow efficient riddling.

This listing is for 1x Upper Bar (HHR08030) only. A complete grate requires 8 Upper Bars and 9 Lower Bars.

❗Important: Hunter completely changed the grate bar design in early 2007. The older MK1 pre-2007 bars cannot be mixed or uséd with the newer style. If your stove is still running the original MK1 bars, you must buy a full new set the first time — the old and new designs are not cross-compatible in any way.
