Hello and thanks for looking at this auction. I'm a disabled Veteran and do this as a hobby and not as a means for earning a living. Honor and integrity is most important to me so I will always do my best to present everything as clearly and honestly as possible but please look closely at all photos and judge for yourself. It is always possible that I could or will miss something in the listing such as scratches, missing hand rails, steps or other issues like that but your satisfaction is what I want most. If you have questions please feel free to ask.

Shipping: I DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY.

I do combine shipping on all items that I sell.

I have noticed in my feedback and in other sellers feedback that buyers often give low ratings for shipping cost. All that I ask is that before you leave a lower than 5 star rating for shipping cost that you please check out what the actual cost was for the item.

It is not my goal to make money from shipping so with all my auctions, be it a single item or multiple items, after packaging and shipping cost if there is $1 dollar or more left out of what you paid to me for shipping that I will refund the difference to nearest dollar. I don't know how I could be any fairer with shipping cost. I do purchase some shipping materials such as boxes on line most of which cost me between .90 cents to as much as $1.40 so that is also considered when issuing a refund but I do recycle as much as I can to save everyone on the shipping cost.

This item is a HO Scale 4 Bay Virginian Coal Hopper Car #VGN2610 that I have completely refurbished so it truly is better than New. It has had New Kadee Knuckle Couplers installed that have been adjusted to meet the NMRA height standard. (Most of what I use are #5 or #148 Couplers) The Trucks are Body Mount Screw type. These are Metal with Real Springs and on these trucks I have also installed New Walthers 920-2304 HO Scale 33" Wheelsets with Metal Axles. There is 1 step missing for the side ladders but the other 3 are fine as well as the hand brake and there is no visible damage that I can see. If you have ever purchased any of these New parts you can see that I have a bit of money invested in every car but I believe you get what you pay for so if you want better performance than sure it will cost a little more. As with all hobbies you might still need to tweak things to your liking or needs. I have also added weight to every car using the NMRA Standard for HO Scale Trains (1 ounce for the car and .5 ounce for each inch in length) trying to get every car within 1/4 of an ounce (+/-) to the exact weight needed. Cars that have loads are either hand made by me or something I have purchased and added to the cars. Some of these loads I also painted by hand but my painting abilities leave much to be desired. It's sometimes hard to hit a moving target when everything is shacking if you know what I mean.

Thanks for you time and interest in this item and God Bless.
