This antique mechanical brass doorbell set is the real deal. The twist is stamped bronze and has a lovely & rich patina. It's got a pretty Victorian aesthetic design, complete with the word "Turn", and was created around 1874. The doorbell, which produces a higher-pitched repeating ring in one direction, is in excellent working condition with normal wear. The cover is cast brass and the fancy base is cast iron. This set is ready to be easily installed on your door.
Bell base measures 5 1/2" across the widest and 4" at the narrowest; 4 1/4" across screw holes. Twist base is 2 1/4" diameter. Rod which connects the bell to the twist through your door is 2 1/8".
