This nickel medallion honors the Class of 2009 with cap and diploma  with sunburst background on the front. The reverse is a blank area.

The dark area is a semi-mirror like finish that reflects dark when scanned. The back is mostly a frosted surface to allow engraving to appear more outstanding.

The coin portion size is (39mm) just a little larger then an old silver dollar.
