Instructions for Use:
1.Prior to operation, inspect the leak detector for any external damage. Ensure the pressure gauge and other components are undamaged and that the pointer functions correctly. As the leak detector contains precision components such as pressure gauges, handle with care to avoid knocks or bumps. Ensure the air supply from the compressor is clean and free from impurities or oil contamination.
2.Connect the leak detector to the air compressor. Verify that the gauge for positive pressure indicates a reading of 0.65 MPa or above.
3.Ensure the extension hose for leak detection is fitted with a filter to prevent debris ingestion. (Position the filter with the arrow pointing towards the leak detector.)
4.Select rubber plugs of appropriate size according to the engine manifold port dimensions. After switching on, adjust the plug position as needed and press firmly. Only release pressure once the vacuum gauge needle stabilises.
5.Pressure gauge readings may be influenced by various factors, such as excessive valve guide clearance. During operation, observe carefully to accumulate experience. Comparing and referencing leak detector readings will yield more efficient results.
