The Gen 3 Level 6 is part of the Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS).

Level 6 is constructed with two-layer Gore-Tex and seam-sealed throughout.

It is a waterproof, windproof, and breathable barrier designed to be worn as a lightweight shell layer over other levels in moderate to cold and wet or windy conditions.

Level 6 is ideal for anyone who needs to carry their gear over changing climate conditions.

It can deliver waterproof, windproof and breathable levels of protection against the elements with 50% less bulk than previous systems.  

The level 6 also incorporates near infrared signature reduction technology.
