The original "Ultrachron" model [7970-1] was relegated to the past in 2022.

The "Ultrachron" collection was created as the pinnacle of Longines' mechanical watches at the time, and is equipped with the high-frequency movement Cal. 431, which beats at 36,000 vph, a rare feat for the time.

Cal. 431 boasted high accuracy, with a monthly deviation of one minute and a daily deviation of two seconds.

This "Ultrachron Diver" is the first diver model to feature the Cal. 431, produced in the late 1960s.

It's in such excellent condition that it could almost be called deadstock, with an unused strap, original buckle, and a case that appears to be unpolished, making it almost a shame to use.

It has been overhauled in our shop. Some VTG products are sold as is, with scratches and signs of aging intentionally left unfinished to preserve the original atmosphere.
