Antique EAPG Adams & Co Palace Pattern Large Compote 10.25” Manganese Glow 1888

This is a stunning antique Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) compote made by Adams & Company in the Palace (OMN) pattern, first introduced in 1888. This pattern is sometimes mistakenly referred to as Moon and Star, but its original name was Palace.

·         Pattern: Palace (OMN), aka “Palace Moon & Star”

·         Date: Circa 1888

·         Size: approx. 10.25" diameter, 7.5" tall, 5" base

·         Features: Glows bright under 365nm UV light due to manganese content (not uranium)

·         Condition: Excellent for its age. No chips or cracks found. There are a few expected straw marks from the manufacturing process, which are typical of EAPG and add to its authenticity. Displays beautifully.

This is a large, impressive, and genuine 19th-century EAPG compote — perfect as a display centerpiece, to showcase under 365nm UV light, or to add to a serious Early American Pattern Glass collection.
